With 224 new cases reported on Sunday for COVID 19, Belagavi breached the 20,000 mark and total confirmed cases stood at 20,094.
195 were discharged and active cases stood at 2132 in the district.
No new deaths were reported on Sunday but total deaths have reached 300 now.
Around 550 beds are available at the Belagavi Civil hospital.
