Belagavite Shirish Pattanshetty expands regional footprint Dangal Kannada Channel

Lotus Enterprise, the parent company of a Marathi GEC Fakt Marathi and sister concern of Enterr10 TV network, has announced its foray in south regional entertainment space with Kannada GEC-Dangal Kannada, which is promoted by promoters Manish Singhal and Shirish Pattanshetty of Belagavi.

Dangal Kannada is the first of its kind TV channel dedicated to dubbed content. It serves a fresh outlook for the audience, in their own Kannada Language. The content premiered ranges from Mythology to Crime, from Costume Drama to Family Drama.
The channel is live from September 30th and will air dubbed versions of popular shows including ‘Ramayan’, ‘Mere Sai’, ‘Phir Laut Aayi Naagin’, and ‘Tenali Rama’.

The channel will be available across cable networks and DTH platforms including Airtel Digital TV, Dish TV and Videocon D2H.

Shirish is a Belgaumite who completed his schooling from St.Paul’s High school and college from Gogte College of Commerce. He diversified from his family business of oil extraction and after having some small stints at businesses he eventually entered into advertising space with Naveen Advertisements in the late 1990s.
