The INDIAN NATIONAL CONGRESS held its thirty-ninth session at Belgaum on the 26th & 27th Dec. 1924.
 Gandhiji was the president of the Congress only on one occasion and the session was held in Belgaum.

That time Gandhi visited Khot Building in Gondhali galli, Belgaum. I have visited the room where Gandhi took rest and met local leaders. This room is still kept intact .

To the Editor, Sir can you publish any photo you may have of the speech being delivered. Then I can confirm it was my grandfather who translated the speech. He was well known to Shri Deshpande. I would like to have that photo (copy of). Shrivatsa Desai
