Bharatesh hosts ‘Desh Apnayein’ competitions

Bharatesh Education Trust (BET) hosted the skit and patriotic song competition under the ‘Desh Apnayein’ movement adopted by the Trust. Desh Apnayein Sahayog Foundation, started by Vallabh Bhanshali of ENAM securities, is a nationwide movement towards inculcating civic awareness and responsible citizenry among school and college students. BET has already hosted the teacher training program by the foundation last month. All schools under BET participated in this competition under the Primary and High School categories. Bharatesh Central School-Kudachi won the first prize in a skit in primary. Bharatesh English Medium School won first prize in high school category for skit and SP Hanminhal Bharatesh Kannada primary school won second prize. Bharatesh Central School-Halaga won first prize in singing, while second prize was won by DY Chougule Bharatesh High School. The first prize in singing in Primary section was won by Bharatesh Central School, Kudachi.

Praveen Kulkarni, editor of Paulite Link and Swatee Jog were the judges for the skit and Dr. Amey Jathar and Shubha Kulkarni judged the singing competitions. Shripal Khemlapure, Treasurer, BET , Hirachand Kalmani and Rajendra Ramgonda, Member, BET gave away the prizes. Br. Sadhana Didi proposed the vote of thanks. Jyoti Patil anchored the event. Principals of Bharatesh Schools,  Jyoti Patil, Yogita Patil Sanjeev Akki, Janagouda and Lakhamgoudar were present. Jyoti Mirajkar, Principal, SPH Bharatesh Kannada Primary school coordinated the event.

  1. Nice function : Happy to read that Mr. Praveen Kulkarni,officiated as one of the Judges in this show. Incidentally young Praveenji is my School-mate( St. Paul’s High School,camp,Belagavi- myself being a former student of St. Paul’s School,having passed out in the year 1953).
