BUDA presents a surplus budget of 1.5 crore 2022–23

A surplus budget of ₹ 1.50 crore for 2022–23 was presented by the Belagavi Urban Development Authority (Buda) here on Thursday.

BUDA is expected to generate revenue of ₹ 492.08 crore from various sources and is estimated expenditure is ₹ 490.58 crore.

₹ 100 crore has been allocated for special projects and ₹ 150 crore has been earmarked for the implementation of Scheme No. 61 in Kanbargi.

With this, a total of ₹ 250 crore has been allocated for new projects. Funds have been earmarked for the development of the Ramathirnagar project which is currently being managed by the Authority.

It was decided at the meeting to request the government to consider a 500 meter range as a green belt near the Suvarna Vidhan Soudha currently the green belt is 1 km.
