The Indian Army for the first time is hosting a recruitment rally for female candidates for recruitment of 100 Soldier General Duty (Women Military Police) in the Indian Army.
Recruitment rallies are planned to be conducted at Ambala, Lucknow, Jabalpur, Belagavi and Shillong from July 22 to 27.
As many as 4000 women are expected to take part in ion the recruitment rally. Speaking on the occasion Deputy Commissioner Dr. S B Bommanhalli said that for the first time a women’s recruitment rally is been held in Belagavi at the Shivaji Ground in Maratha Light Infantry regimental center.
Staff from Revenue and education would be deputed for the smooth conduct of the rally, he added.
Helpline centers would be set up at Central bus terminus and Railway stations which will guide the candidates.
DC has directed officials to provide proper transportation, water, medical facilities.
Col Dayal said Candidates from Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra and Mahashtra can take part here in Belagavi.
