On Saturday Karnataka chief minister Basavaraj Bommai said a decision on imposing night curfew in the state will be made on Sunday in a meeting with experts.
Bommai said a meeting with the top officials and a technical team regarding the measures to be taken to prevent the spread of Covid-19, specifically the Omicron variant is scheduled for Tomorrow Sunday.
After taking opinions from them a decision would be made as to how the state will go forward tackling the Omicron variant.
Already the state Govt has put a ban on public gatherings for New Year celebrations between December 30, 2021, and January 2, 2022.
