With social media playing an important role in getting the Acche din sarkar in place, the candidates are leaving no stone unturned for the bye-elections. The Chikkodi-Sadalga bye-election which is happening after Prakash Hukkeri won the Parliamnetary election earlier this year his son Ganesh and BJP candidate and MLC Mahantesh Kavdgimath both are campaigning arduously day and night.
The facebook pages of both the candidates are regularly updated with the mention of the wards/ areas covered with photographs on a regular basis each day.

Ganesh Hukkeri’s page commenced on March 27, 2014 whereas Kavdgimath’s [age was started in 2012 but updates were made only in July end 2014.
Voting will be held on August 21.
