A family of five attempted suicide by jumping into the Gokak Falls, but the timely action by Rakesh Gotur of Hubballi saved 4 out of the 5 lives. Gokak Police said Shakeel Noor Ahmed Andagi, 35 years, his wife Yaseen, 32 years along with their daughters Anjum, 7 years and Bebu, 5 years, and son around 18 months old son Majeed jumped into the river. Rakesh save four lives but Bebu was missing and local divers tried their best trace the boy in vain. However, search was still going on.
