The state assembly was discussing drought situation in the state and the inconveniences caused to the farmers at the same time a farmer identified as Chandru climbed atop a mobile tower near Suvarna Soudha demanding demanding better support price for sugarcane in the State.
Former Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy who reached the spot after hearing of the protesting farmer pacified him following which he climbed down from the mobile tower.
