Deputy Commissioner of Police (Law & Order) G. Radhika and Inspector B.R. Gaddekar, rescued a 20-year-old girl from being forced into prostitution here on Thursday evening.
In a press release on Friday, Police Commissioner T.G. Krishna Bhat said that the police arrested four women and a man in connection with the case.
According to the police, two persons had allegedly offered Rs. 2 lakh to her parents.
