KLS Gogte institute of Technology’s Aero design team Team Vayuputra 2.0 was formed in April, about six months ago and since then they have come a long way forward. From training sessions to coming up with possible designs, testing and fabricating them – they have come a long way. And they are preparing to showcase their flying objects at the SAE Aero Design, Florida (USA) which will be held from March 9-11, 2018 and with less than two months to go for the competition, they require your support!
They are striving hard to raise at least half of the required funds through sponsorship. SAE Aero Design is an international competition, and Vayuputra are the first and only team from North Karnataka to participate in it.
In March 2017, Texas (USA) it was the first time that they participated and they were placed 4th in the “Highest Payload” category & 6th in “Best Payload Fraction” category. 75 teams from around the world participated in this competition. This was only a testament to our commitment to do our best in the competition.
