Good news for the city corporation as the the empty space of the earlier Doddannavar petrol pump near Basveshwar circle Govaves has been rented out to Mahesh Kugaji for 2,15,000 per month with a deposit of 10 lakhs for a period of 15 years.
In 2015 then Corporation commissioner Ravikumar had seized the Doddannavar petrol pump for not paying the rent and had also won the court case from then the space was lying empty. An auction was done earlier as well but the bidder could not pay the deposit amount in time.
The base price for the land was 2 lakhs and Mahesh Kugaji bid for 2,15,000 hence the same was alloted to him. He will now have to deposit the remaining 8 lakhs deposit and take possession of the land.
