Lingayat Rally on Tuesday 3-4 lakh people expected Traffic Advisory

More than 4 lakh people are expected to be part of the Lingayat Rally tomorrow Tuesday. The rally is being conducted under the leadership of Naganur Rudrakshi Mutt Seer Dr Siddarama Swamiji.

Lingayats from various parts of Karnataka, Maharashtra, and Andhra Pradesh will take part in huge rally to be held from Lingraj college Ground to urge the union government to recognize Lingayat community as separate, independent religion.

The Traffic police has issued an advisory for the same.

From 9 AM there would be traffic diversions and no parking would be allowed on College road, Dharmveer Sambhaji Circle, Kirloskar Road, Hutatma Circle, Maruti Galli, Ganpat Galli, Kaktives and Khade Bazar.

The said roads would be banned for all kinds of vehicular traffic as well until the rally ends.

All traffic would be diverted via Camp from Globe circle; also at Krishnadevraya (Kolhapur Cross) Circle, Rayana Circle, Chennamma circle.

Vehicles coming for the rally have been assigned places where they can park their vehicles –
Post Office road near globe, Marathi Vidya niketan High school, Benon Smith college, CpEd, Hindalga Ganpati temple, Dharmanath Bhavan, Balkundri College ground, Open space in Shiv Basav Nagar.
