Group clash at Ranakunde village

As many as four persons were injured in a group clash in Ranakunde village near Belagavi city late on Wednesday evening under the rural Police station limits.

On getting the information commissioner of Police and DCP rushed to the spot and more police were deployed to contain the situation.

The TOI reports, According to the police members were building a shrine near a mosque where villagers were offering pooja for several years. There was a small structure earlier in the same place. The construction of the temple began in the morning hours.

At around 7 pm in the evening, about 4-8 people led by a person identified as Inamdar arrived at the village from the city. These men demolished the 5-foot walls built on four sides and later entered into an argument with the committee. After a brief scuffle, both sides began to attack each other.

The Inamdar family claimed that the land on which the structure is being constructed belongs to him.

The police are investigating the matter.

  1. When will this end? If you want to build anything, then please build hospitals/Schools for the poor/Orphanage homes/old age homes/shelters for dogs/cats/ God will be more happy to see humans do this!!
