A hitech copying racket was busted by the police at the written exams for the posts of police constables in Belagavi city.
Two candidates including a woman were found copying by using Bluetooth microdevices.
Laxman Asiroti from Masaguppi village, Gokak taluk, and Saraswati Pujari from Tagadi village are the accused. Both appeared at different centres and both were using Bluetooth micro devices.
An entire team of around 12 members was sending answers through the bluetooth devices. Most of the 12 members are the ones who appeared for competitive exams earlier.
As many as 33 mobile phones, nine MasterCard devices, 19 bluetooth devices, one laptop, and a car have been seized from them.
