On Sunday there was a huge spike in COVID-19 cases in Belagavi district with 52 cases being reported which is the highest single day spike in 2021.
Out of the 52 cases, 35 are from Belagavi Taluka alone.
4 Athani, 2 Chikkodi, Gokak 2, 3 Raibag, and 1 each form Hukkeri, Khanapur, Ramdurg and 2 from Savadatti and 1 others.
With this spike the active cases now stand at 310.
4553 cases were reported in Karnataka today.
28 were discharged today.
Results of 2099 samples is awaited.
