MLA Anil Benake held a meeting with Ashoka Kumar Shetty to obtain the information about Multi Super Specialty Hospital, daily admission of patients, oxygen supply, quality of food for the patients and fees collected in OPD at Belagavi district hospital.
Various works of the Multi Super Specialty Hospital at the District hospital will be reviewed and the two floors will be inaugurated in the winter session to facilitate the public.
Construction of a mother and child hospital on the premises of the district hospital will be completed soon.
The blood bank, and X-ray facility should be functioning 24 hours a day, MLA said.
Later, along with the officials, the food served to the patients was checked.
Senior officials including BIMS CEO Shahida Afrin, CAO and F Gourishankar were present.
As of now the dates of the winter session, whether it will be held in Belagavi or no has not yet been finalized.
