And JCB did the honors of removing the Barricades near court

Sep 11, 2017 by Editor Sep 11, 2017 14 Comments

The War has ended and the Advocates have won the war by removing the Barricades installed near the court with the help of the JCB around 1.30 PM.

Advocates were protesting since 11 AM and entire traffic was stalled on the road and the advocates did have some rounds of talks with the administration but after they failed they tried to remove it on their own.

barri-removdWhen they could not remove it they called in for a JCB and got the Barricade removed. The police in the photo were a mute spectator.

The common citizens are now asking will the advocates be also booked for destroying public property?

Really pathetic..lawyers or loafers ?…these lawyers could have dealt these professionally by registering a case in the court against the concerned authority to remove the barricades….this shows that these lawyers don’t have faith in the judicial system or they are aware of the fact that their demand is inconsiderate.

They must be punished as law is common to every one and should also penalised for the damage.

    Dear admin,
Isnt it possible for any competent authority to take stern action against these men ?
Are lawyers above the law ?
If they are not happy with something then does the law give them the right to destroy it ?
    And who are we ?
    Mute spectators ?
If what they did isnt punished then no other fringe groups responsible for vandalism are punishable.
Its high time other half of the educated society take on these less educated lawyers.
I request you and other media ppl in the city to take this issue up and bring justice.
    Do something AAB !
    Ur voice is heard !

    This is insane & anarchy!
    1. Who will own up for loss incurred in building barricade?
    2. Why did the advocates not show their ‘power’ when new under-pass was constructed? They seemed to be mute spectators when public money was spent!
    3. Why don’t police register case against lawyers and bring culprits to court & make them pay up for public loss?
    4. The BGM district minister or any of elected MP/MLAs will remain tight lipped as they don’t want to hurt their vote bank! And the joke is the tax payers who vote for them will end up paying once again.
    5. The advocates now literally shown that it is OK to jay-walk the road at their will and cause traffic problems!

    God help democracy!
