Belagavi-based KLE Society has announced a major investment of ₹1,000 crore over the next five years in the Knowledge and Innovation (KWIN) City project. This ambitious initiative aims to boost education, healthcare services, and research in the field of health sciences.

KWIN City, spanning 5,800 acres, is strategically located 45 minutes from Kempegowda International Airport and just 5 km from the Bengaluru-Pune Greenfield Expressway, making it a key hub for knowledge-driven industries.

At the ‘GIM-2025’ conference, Dr. Prabhakar Kore, President of KLE Society, and S. Selvakumar, Principal Secretary of the Industries Department, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) formalizing this commitment. This marks the first major investment in KWIN City, expected to generate 1,500 jobs.
