Nature Camp at Bhimgad Sancturay inaugurated

bhimgad-nature-campThe nature camp on seven acres at Bhimgad sanctuary, 40km from Belgaum city was inaugurated by minister Satish Jarkhiholi on Tuesday. However the nature camp will open after the monsoon, in October for the general public.

The nature camp is surrounded by dense forests, the camp will not only be a green and animal lover’s delight, but also an institute for bonding with nature. Forest department has spent Rs 27 lakh for establishing the nature camp.
The camp has two luxury tents and two ordinary. Each tent can accommodate about 5 to 8 persons. Apart from this, it has 5 special tents for children aged between 7 and 3 years each tent can accommodate three children.  Local villagers will get jobs as they would be appointed as tourist guides.bhimgad-nature-camp
The camp will also undertake trekking trips. The department is yet to finalize the tariff and discount would be given to students. There would be guided tours only in the forest area to Panseri Nala to watch the beauty of waterfalls and more. The camp will also have trekking, rock climbing and more.
