Nitesh Patil, IAS has been appointed as the new Deputy Commissioner Belagavi in place of M G Hiremath. He was serving as DC Dharwad.
Patil took charge as DC Belagavi on 05/05/2022
M G Hiremath had taken charge as Deputy commissioner Belagavi from Dr SB Bommanhalli who retired on June 30, 2020.
MG Hiremath has been now transferred as Managing Director Karnataka Rural Infrastructure Development corporation.
Nitesh Patil holds a B.Tech degree and has previously worked as Additional Commissioner, Commercial Taxes, Bengaluru.
Nitesh Patil is a 2012- batch IAS officer of the Karnataka cadre. Born on October 1, 1986, Patil is a BTech graduate and was inducted into the IAS on September 3, 2012.
