In a very sad incident, a youth was killed on the spot while another one was injured as a tree uprooted and fell on them near Sangolli Rayanna Circle Belagavi on Tuesday morning.
The tree uprooted and fell on the youth, the deceased has been identified as Rakesh Suladhal aged 26 of Siddhanhalli in the Belagavi Rural area.
The forest department had ignored the complaints regarding dangerous, dead trees.Â
