You could be saved from those trips to Hubballi to get your passport as the City corporation has agreed to allot space for the Passport Seva Kendra (PSK) at its Govaves Shopping complex.
The ministry of external affairs had sanctioned in principal opening of a PSK in Belagavi.
The Satish Tendolkar, Dr.AB Kalkundrikar, members of the postal forum had met the Mayor Mahesh Naik and had told him about the need of the PSK and how it will benefit the citizens. Mahesh Naik presented the matter infront of the general body meeting and it was unanimously resolved that a space in the govaves Shopping complex would be alloted to the PSK.
This is good beginning and will save a lot of time and money of the citizens.
Now we will have to wait and see when actually the same opens.
