Early morning after the Parade the Police team under the leadership of Commissioner of Police Krishna Bhat reached the Hindlaga jail and conducted a surprise raid.
As many as 150 persons from DCP, ACP to CPI level officers were seen in action from 9 AM.
Each room of the jail was searched and some minor things were seized but nothing major was recovered police sources said.
Some items were recovered from some rooms however the contents of the same would be divulged later after investigation the officers said.
