The project envisages the construction of 6000 affordable houses on 35.7 hectares of land which is near the Kigali International Airport. The Rwandan government had first contacted Kulkarni in 2017 when two of his apartments were rated 7 and 6-star by the global rating company CRISIL. Due to COVID, the project has been delayed but the same is now likely to start in the next 9 months.

Chaitanya Kulkarni said.

It is a matter of pride that our company has been selected for the same and this will also help to enhance the bilateral relations of these two countries, added Kulkarni.
