The Nath Pai garden situated on Deshmukh road Tilakwadi was inaugurated by minister U T Khader after it was taken for redevelopment under the Smart city project.
The garden is spread over 1.32 acres and around 92 lakhs were spent on the improvement.
The said project is under the Area Based Development (ABD)-Improvement Of Neighborhood Parks & Recreational Spaces which has a total budget of 18.50 cr for all the parks and gardens in the project.
Improvements:
Consists of toilets
Central gazebo
Wire cut bricks pergola with benches for seating, fountain, walking track with shot blasted pavers, jogging track, yoga deck, stone cladded planters with granite seating, sand pits for children to play and very vivid horticulture works
Garden has a highlight of fragrant flower plants, perennial flowering plants, lawn is chosen which suits Belagavi climate.
Fully developed irrigation system with sprinkler and drip system
Very good quality shot blasted pavers are used for walking track
Also training will be given to the maintenance people to carry out the work smoothly.
Garden will be maintained by contractor for two years after completion.

Absolutely no outdoor recreation facilities for kids, so that they can be kept away from gadgets
Citizens should cooperate to maintain this newly developed garden in good shape
