Shivaraj Annasaheb Chavan, who has been acting and exploring theater in Belagavi from 4 years is now playing ‘Sumit’ in the Marathi Movie ‘College Diary’ written and Directed by Aniket Jagannath Ghadage. The movie releases on March 8.
‘College Diary‘ is a story about how a college boy gets into a college decayed by the local gang, suffers and faces the agony of his friends and love. Seeks revenge and this situation falls into the hands of local politician further it gets worse. How the protagonist(Boy) comes out of this dirty stuff and fight again.
Born and brought up in Chavat Galli in a family of farmers, Shivaraj completed his engineering in E&C and also worked as a journo in a local paper.
Shivaraj has enacted challenging roles like Claudius(Hamlets Father), 45 minutes solo act of Scarecrow in Belagavi’s Yalluri ascent, Monkey in play “Dron” & one act plays like Trishanku, Tekadi, Vyasanwari, What If ? and many more. He was first assistant Director of Marathi feature film ‘Yara’ and also acted in a Marathi serial “Rudram”. He has also assisted in ad films for noted corporates.
