For those frequent-flyers, the most sought after route Mumbai will be launched by SpiceJet by June 20, the same was tweeted by Member of Parliament Suresh Angadi.

Suresh Angadi who is in Delhi met Shri Pradeep Singh Kharola secretary Civil aviation & discussed on getting more flights to Belagavi and also spoke to Chairman of SpiceJet Ajay Singh over the phone, where he promised to commence the Bengaluru – Belagavi – Mumbai Flight by June 20 positively.

The flight to Mumbai will be under the UDAN 3.0 and hence there will be a price cap for a certain number of seats.

It is still not clear whether it will be from the Bombardier fleet or will be the Boeing 737 or Air Bus 319/320.

ang-kharolaAfter all the criticism, Suresh Angadi has pro-actively contacted and also told the citizens about it. But we also wish he presses more on retaining the bigger planes coming to IXG.

So let us wait for the official word from SpiceJet.

  2. Thats great news but then the air bus flights are to be held back to belgaum and not let anything which belongs wholely and solely let go to Hubli.
Let Start the campaign to hold onto the Airbus else it will be too late. 4 days to go things can change. We belgaumites are the change. We stand for our city anytime and everyone no matter what caste or creed we belong we are belgaumites. Let’s not delay anymore as it’s peak time to hold on our nerves we ought to retain the airbus. Editor let’s us know how do we proceed to retain or belongings. Let’s do it.

  3. Hon’ble MP , please look into Belagavi -Tirupati flight getting operationalised as soon as possible so that devotees may go to Seek Balaji blessings off and on.
I would request the hon’ble MP , not to shift the AI 585/586 flight from Belagavi to Bengaluru and back.Let the Airbus keep continuing the flight operating as usual.

  6. Looks like only Bnagalore flight is alloted from June 20th per the spicejet schedule which is open for booking the tickets. Per the arrival and departure timings, no Mumbai flight as of now.
