Training of the Maiden batch of Agniveervayu commenced at Airmen Training School Belagavi

The training of the maiden batch of Agniveervayu commenced at Airmen Training School Belagavi on 30 Dec 2022. On the occasion, Air Marshal Manavendra Singh, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief Training Command, Indian Air Force visited Airmen Training School Belagavi to oversee the commencement of Agniveervayu training.

On arrival, the Air Marshal was received by Air Commodore S Sridhar, Air Officer Commanding, Airmen Training School Belagavi and was introduced to the key functionaries of the station. During his visit, the Air Officer inspected various training infrastructures created for the ab-initio training of Agniveervayu.

The Air Marshal expressed his satisfaction and lauded the efforts & hard work of all the air warriors involved in the successful induction of the first Batch of Agniveervayu. He urged all the key personnel of the school to continue working hard and make the path-breaking Agnipath scheme, a great success. He exhorted the instructors to maintain the highest standards of devotion and commitment toward the training of Agniveervayu.

Later, the Air Marshal interacted with the budding Agniveervayu trainees and motivated them to serve the nation aligning with the core values of IAF- Mission, Integrity and Excellence. He emphasized discipline & dedication and urged the trainees to be mentally tough for the successful completion of the training.
