Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) will be holding its convocation on March 18 and this time Vice-President Venkaiah Naidu will deliver the convocation address.
Vajubhai Vala, Governor, and Chancellor will also preside over.
VTU will confer Honoris Causa-Honorary Degree of Doctor of Science on engineer and social worker B. Girish Bharadwaj who has constructed 137 low-cost and eco-friendly suspension bridges across rivers in India to help connect isolated hamlets and villages.
