The 10-day winter session at the Suvarna Vidhan Soudha in Belagavi is set to begin on December 19, and officials have prepared an estimate amounting to ₹37 crores for conducting the session this year.
The Suvarna Soudha in Belagavi will be hosting the Legislative assembly session from December 19 to 29 and all the rooms in the Hotels, resorts will be booked from Dec 18 to Dec 30 for the winter session.
In 2021, the 10-day session held at Belagavi ended on 24 December 2021.
In the 2021 session held, the assembly transacted for 52 hours and 14 minutes in its 10-day session during which 14 Bills were approved.
The first session was held in 2006 in KLE society’s JNMC hall and 10 sessions have been held in these 16 years.
