Modak get fruity and exotic this Ganpati

The festival of Ganesh Chaturthi, one of the biggest festivals, with colour, revelry is almost here. The idol of the favorite God is getting its final touches in the studio and at the same time the Home is getting ready for the arrival. There is an aura of devotion and spirituality and to add more taste are the special modaks that are being prepared everywhere. Most homes will make the round delight that is said to be a favourite of the Elephant God. Along with the regular mithai modaks being sold in the city, folks are getting innovative with the dumpling. Lord Ganesha is back in town, and he brings along with him prosperity, wealth, wisdom – and food.

Traditionally Lord Ganesha is offered with Modaks, these are typical coconut dessert either steamed or fried. On this occasion they have also prepared Choc Ganache Modaks which are flavoured with walnut almonds and pistachios and dipped in white or dark chocolate. The Modak Boxes are priced at INR 350 and has 6 white chocolate & 6 dark chocolate Modak

 Another sweet that is offered to Lord Ganesha during this festive season is Ladoos. Ganesh Chaturthi would be incomplete if we do not offer Ladoos to the Lord, so at Wild Sugar there is the Chocolate Ganache Ladoos which are then rolled in walnuts, coconut, pistachio and almonds. The Ladoo Boxes are priced at INR 350 a pack of 12 Ladoos 

Kobra Cha Kanola which is locally known as Karanji. It is made with a flaky puff pastry which is flavored with cinnamon and is stuffed with a coconut and jaggery filling which is very local and traditional on this occasion.

The Kanola Boxes are priced at INR 250 for a pack of 12 Kanolas.

The above mentioned products will be available Wild sugar, Ambedkar Road, near Krishnadevraya Circle from 28th of August 2014 and will feature till the end of Ganesh Chaturthi, we also home deliver these products on bulk ordering.
