The festival of Ganesh Chaturthi, one of the biggest festivals, with colour, revelry is almost here. The idol of the favorite God is getting its final touches in the studio and at the same time the Home is getting ready for the arrival. Traditionally Lord Ganesha is offered with Modaks, these are typical coconut dessert either steamed or fried. On this occasion they have also prepared Choc Ganache Modaks which are flavoured with walnut almonds and pistachios and dipped in white or dark chocolate. Kobra Cha Kanola which is locally known as Karanji. It is made with a flaky puff pastry which is flavored with cinnamon and is stuffed with a coconut and jaggery filling which is very local and traditional on this occasion.
