Belagavi-Bengaluru Vande Bharat train service is set to commence soon. Following the recent extension of the Vande Bharat train to Belagavi yesterday, social media was abuzz this morning with news of its cancellation. Indeed, a letter was circulated mentioning the withdrawal of the extension.
However, it is important to note that a general approval letter for the extension of four Vande Bharat trains was issued, which included one for the poll-bound state of Rajasthan. Due to the implementation of the Code of Conduct, the letter pertaining to the Rajasthan Vande Bharat train has been retracted, and a revised approval letter, excluding Rajasthan, will be issued shortly.
