During the Republic Day celebrations at the Belagavi District Stadium, District Incharge Minister Satish Jarkhiholi highlighted several significant projects that are set to be undertaken in Belagavi.

Firstly, to alleviate traffic congestion within the city, plans are underway to construct a flyover from Gandhi Nagar to Rani Channamma Circle from National Highway 48. This project is estimated to cost Rs 350 crore.

Efforts are also being made to clear the buildings occupied by various departments within the DC office premises. In their place, a state-of-the-art district office complex will be constructed, with an estimated budget of Rs 200 crore.
