On January 4, 2024, Mr. Panchakshari M K arrived at Vidyadhiraja Kalyana Mandap, located within the jurisdiction of the Malmaruti Police Station, for a wedding ceremony. Unfortunately, his wife’s vanity bag was stolen, containing jewelry worth approximately 3,51,000 in gold and 3,500/- in cash.
Thanks to the diligent efforts of the Malmaruti Police, the thief, identified as Imtiaz Muhammad Ghaus Hubliwale, a resident of Veerabhadra Nagar Belagavi, was apprehended. The stolen gold jewelry and cash, amounting to a total value of 3,54,500, were successfully recovered from the accused.
Legal action has been taken against Imtiaz Muhammad Ghaus Hubliwale, and the investigation is ongoing.
